I’m a cartoonist, illustrator and journalist living in Washington, D.C. My art and writing, often focused on cities and transportation, has appeared in The Atlantic, The Guardian and NPR among others. I was a 2017 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan and have a Masters in cartooning from the Center for Cartoon Studies. I created and published the printed nonfiction comics anthology The Cartoon Picayune.

I am the Head of Editorial at New_ Public, a nonprofit trying to ensure that the future of social media is less terrible. If that sounds interesting, you should check out our newsletter.
